Economic, Political, Social

There was a business course titled Economic, Political, Social. The message was/is: you can't develop strategy in one of those area without considering the impact in the other two. A viable policy must embrace all three areas.

In the most recent political season this was sorely lacking. We heard one liners / sound bites without a basis to decide if the policy was sound. In fact, that was a main reason why I reserved the URL RevokeMyCitizenship.com!

For instance, Trump slogan "Make America Great Again" boasted greater economic growth, lower unemployment (already low at 4.7%), restricting immigration, even including building a wall. How would that make sense?
